Thinking of Starting out to make my own juice after 12 years of vaping…

Any recommendations of what I will need?

Thanks. Should I start with one of their starter kits?

What do I buy for flavours , and which nicotine?

I would say the starter kit is a good way to get you up and running - and if you buy recipe cards , a lot of times there is left overs you can use in future mixes and its a easy way to get you started with the least chance of errors

in terms of nicotine thats all up to you on what strenghts you vape and how much you plan on mixing

What kind of profiles do you like?

There’s a million one shots now that make life so much easier.

Also grab a scale, mixing by weight instead of drops or ml’s is WAY easier!

I prefer dessert flavour profiles

Can I get recipe cards from the same shop you sent the link of?

Just a reminder , thats with dessert flavours you will have to store them for a while so flavours can steep so you get the best profile from your mix

If you are ever in Boksburg side you can pop in to the Blck Flavour retail store - out of my experience there the staff is super helpfull and very keen to share knowledge , always on my list of stops when Im in JHB

Easier for PG, VG and nicotine but drops much easier and accurate with the newer much stronger flavourings, I suppose it depends on the amount you are making but if I was doing a 30ml e-liquid using Flavorah flavourings for example drops are the way to go!

E-liquid is that simple to make and only needs a few ingredients I really don't see the point of starter kits which are basically rip offs, they remind me of Christmas selection boxes, £1 worth of chocolate put together in a box and then charge £5 for it! Everything you get in a starter kit you can buy separately at a fraction of the price.

Thank you.

What items would you deem the most necessary to start that I purchase separately?

PG, VG, liquid nicotine and then either 2 or 3 flavours you like the sound of or a one shot, just keep it simple to start with and as you gain experience you will find yourself naturally collecting more concentrates! Most would already have some scales or measuring utensil and then just some fit for purpose bottles.

Loads of places in the UK sell everything you need so I would imagine there will also be DIY specialists in SA!
