hi guys , i have a few evod 1.6ml tanks and 2 pass through 650 batteries with the options of using them at 3.7V or 4.7V(i think). i would like to get a duel coil tank that holds a bit more juice but also something that is not too big. also the tank must fit on my ego-t batteries.

any advise on what to get?
your kind assistance will be greatly appreciated.

Does it have to be dual coil?

If not then I would strong suggest the Nautilus Mini (2ml capacity) or Normal Nautilus (5ml capacity) both with the BVC coils.

you may want to look at the nautilus. its standard coils are dual coil but not the best in my opinion. the bvc coils however are much better.
possibly check out the aspire atlantis as well. with 0.5ohm capability it may just be what you are looking for

The 650mah pass through batteries won't handle the atlantis 0.5ohm coils.

The switch is limited to no less than 1.4ohms

Hi @elvin119

The other guys are right to suggest the Nautilus Mini or Nautilus. I prefer the Mini though. It gives me a slightly better flavour and draw action. As suggested, the BVC coils are the ones to go for.

In my view though, the Nautilus wont work best on those ego-t batteries of yours. I have found they need more power. When i put my Nautilus on my Spinner 1 VV battery its okay. When I put it on my SVD at 12 Watts its fantastic!

By the way, the Evod1 is an awesome tank. I find the flavour it produces is special. On some fruit juices i actually prefer the flavour in the little Evod1 to my Reos. Not talking throat hit or vapour, just flavour. So I suggest you keep your Evod tanks anyway for comparison.

All the best

Oh, one last thing, a dual coil will go through juice much faster than your single coil evod1
So even if the tank is a bit bigger it may run out quicker than the 1.6ml with your single coil Evod

thanks alot for all the advise. i thought the dual coil is best because of better flavour and vapour.

Is BVC bottom coils like the evod?

Not exactly

In the evod the coil lays horizontally and uses silica as the wick

The BVC is a vertical coil and uses a ceramic type of wick

Edit: Also the BVC (Bottom Vertical Coil) will not work in the evod and vice versa

The BVC coils may have a similar resistance to the Evod coils, but its very different
Its vertical, not horizontal
They use a different filler material around the coil that soaks up the juice and gives it a different type of flavour to a normal Evod type coil.

The flavour is much richer and denser. You need to try it for yourself.
Perhaps go visit VapeMob seeing as though you are in Cape Town

great. what are my options for BVC 2ml to 2.5ml tanks?

plus how much is a bvc coil?

i really appreciate this advise guys....... i was confusing myself looking at different tanks on sites like vapemob and other ecig sites.

Nautilus Mini takes 2ml. Gets depleted quite quickly
normal Nautilus takes about 4ml or 4.5 ml but as I said I prefer the Mini

The coils cost in the region of R170 to R200 for a pack of 5
They last quite a while. Id say at least 20ml
Some folk have gotten the odd dud coil but I have been lucky. Mine have all worked fine

But i will say again, those ego-t batteries are not going to do the Nautilus justice.

hi, is there a dripper type devise i can use on the ego t battery?

if there is can someone point me in the right direction? also when it comes to a dripper ,do you have to build coils yourself? or does it come with a coil?

Literally, yes a dripper can work on an ego.
Practically, HELL NO!

Drippers are rebuildable devices that you build your own coils for.

Hi, I only have the Ego batteries, 650, 900 and 1100 mah. I have both the Nautilus Mini and Aerotank Mini.

On these batteries I prefer the Aerotank Mini, much better than the Nautilus Mini, the Aerotank Mini is really underrated.

Hope this helps.

Regards.

Hi - in my opinion (and I know you've had many) it's the nautilus mini with BVC coils or the Aerotank mini (dual coil i think) - these also have adjustable airflow which is great. My mini works really well, even on a Spinner2 battery. I also have an Aerotank Mega with no complaints, but flavour is slightly better on the Nautilus. There's also other Aspires (e.g ET-S) that use a BVC coil (not the same BVC as Nautilus though) but don't have adjustable airflow. All-in-all, I'd suggest the Nautilus Mini

I have a mini and it works well , the ET-S is also an option as mentioned as well as the K1 for better looks .... all depending if you want to go RTA/RBA or not. Commercial tanks for on the go , and RBA's for those nice lazy home vapes :)

hey I'm sounding like an expert already :p

BTW - I'm really not a fan of the Aspire ETS personally - but it holds ALOT of juice. Over 3ml comfortably, and it's no bigger than a mini PT3. And only about R100. Still though - Nautilus Mini all the way

thanks alot for the advice guys. I really appreciate it.

I was running a IGO-L dripper on an ego battery a while ago, it works just fine if you build your coil with 32 guage Kanthal at around 1.6 to 1.8 ohms

I does hey :)

You need a stand for it though, it's a little top heavy, the slightest hint of a breeze and it falls over, I kept it in a cup :D
also, it works frikken well for letting newbies try juices, giving them a fully loaded 18650 type mod just looks way to much like a scene from those "movies" that nobody watches, what with the two handed grip and all.... :giggle:

Agreed! I was trying to plug the idea of switching to vaping to my family that visited from the UK. One look at the reos and they were not that impressed.

It also probably didn't help that their first toot was a lung hit off a 0.3Ω dual coil build on the Odin. Needless to say, I don't think I convinced them one bit :p
