Introduction
The Triple II RTA is an upgrade of the original collaboration between VandyVape and Twisted 420, now going by the name Twisted 419 and hopefully by the time you read this hasn't become Twisted 418. It's a large diameter, large capacity (with bubble glass) triple coil RTA which will accommodate a triple, dual or single coil build. With a honeycomb style bottom airflow system and easy top-fill method is it just for clouds, flavour or both, i give my thoughts.

The Triple II RTA came in sample packaging and included a 7ml Acrylic bubble glass with a green swirl pattern and matching drip-tip. The RTA came with a 4ml plain straight glass and wide bore frosted goon fitting 810 drip tip installed and that's how i'll try and describe it. I received the Stainless Steel version, it's also available in Gold, Matte Black, and Rainbow. Top and bottom of the glass we have visible Black O-rings, the air chamber which is Silver has a Triple T logo one side and "II" the other both printed in Black. The bottom section has texturing and elongated dual cyclops airflow slots with stopper, the top section also has texturing and a clearly visible arrow on the top to show where the tank needs pushing open for filling. The base has a Gold plated protruding 510 pin and etched branding and safety stamps, finally as mentioned sitting on top is a frosted wide bore 810 drip tip. The tanks a fair size with a 28mm base diameter which is widened considerably more with the bubble glass fitted, all machining and threading is very good.
Triple II RTA Specs:
Length: 45mm
Diameter: 28mm (32 Diameter with resin cover)
Capacity: 4.0ml/7.0ml
Slide-out Top Fill System
Support Triple or Dual or Single coil system
Bottom Honeycomb Airflow System
Thread: 510
Colours: Stainless Steel, Gold, Matte Black, Rainbow
Assembling and Disassembling
The Triple II comes apart and changing the straight glass for the Acrylic Bubble glass (obviously Acrylic not glass) is very easy. The bottom section with deck unscrews (the threading is very good) and glass pulls off without any dramas. This leaves the top section with air chamber which is one piece, the tank reassembles with whichever glass tube you decide on with equal ease. As well as the frosted and Acrylic 810 drip tips there is also a 510 adaptor included.
The Deck and Airflow
The deck is a raised postless configuration with a bottom with side ramps honeycomb bottom airflow system, it allows for a triple, dual or single coil build. My own thinking on this looking at the size of the deck and size of the juice inlets is despite preferring single coil RTA's i really can't see this giving flavour and would run into all sorts of flooding and leaking issues. Instead i went for the triple coil set-up which isn't my style of vaping but probably is where this RTA will be at it's best. The inclusion of the wire cutting guide is great and obviously will be useful with other rebuildables so hopefully will be included with the retail version. I went for 6ml legs which turned out the correct decision and fixing the coils in position was easy as you would expect from a postless design. The two outer coils are fixed into position by hex screws from the side and the middle coil is fitted by an hex screw on the front and back, if you prefer philips the spare crub screws are philips so you have the choice. I used 3mm diameter coils and had no problems lining them up with each other nicely and without touching. When it came to wicking it's the norm enough cotton in those juice inlets to prevent flooding but not over packed so you stifle the flow of the juice up the wicks, i did find with the 3 cotton ends per inlet they needed a good comb out. I didn't try so this is only my thought but i think with slightly larger diameter coils this would work well as a dual coil but if that's how you would consider using it you would need to seek information elsewhere.
Filling the Tank
After you have primed your cotton and screwed the tank together it's time to fill the tank. The Triple II uses a slide open top-fill method as is becoming common, there is a very clear arrow on the top-cap, simply push the top where the arrow is and the top slides open to reveal a large juice port, the top slides open and back into place with a nice tight (not over tight) resistance. Not sure exactly the capacity with the bubble glass as in the specs it states 7ml but it also mentions 8mls on VandyVapes site, i didn't measure it but it seemed a very generous 7ml so i would guess nearer 8ml.
Performance
My thoughts on the Triple II has a Dual or Single Coil RTA in the review are just assumptions as i only tried it has a Triple Coil. It really isn't my type of vape and as i expected is a real cloud chucker but one thing i did notice was how smooth the airflow was, i adjusted it to different positions and just so smooth. A con i did find which has nothing to do with how i vape was the resistance on the airflow adjustment ring, i like it quite tight but on the sample i received it was just too tight and a few times needed to take it off my device to alter it. Despite being for clouds i didn't find it flavourless especially when i had the airflow at just under halfway but it's relative it's still a cloud chucker just with reasonable flavour as a bonus. The other thing worth considering is this is going to overhang any device that doesn't accommodate up to a 28mm tank.
Conclusion
I found the Triple II RTA to be a very easy triple build cloud chucker with extremely smooth airflow which does give reasonable flavour. If you search for flavour this really isn't for you but if your into clouds and would find reasonable flavour a bonus then it's a real consideration. As already mentioned the Triple II as a Dual or Single RTA is just an assumption on my part but i really can't see why anyone would use it with a Single Coil.

Good build quality
Triple, dual or single coil accommodation
Loads of cloud
Inclusion of wire leg measuring coil (hopefully comes with retail version)
Very smooth airflow
Easy postless build
Acrylic Bubble glass and matching drip-tip in my opinion look very nice
Large capacity
Includes 510 adaptor
Top-fill
Dislikes
Not for flavour
Airflow control ring too tight
Will overhang devices that don't accommodate 28mm tanks
Can't see a single coil build be worth bothering about (assumption)
I would once again like to thank Kary from VandyVape for supplying the Triple II RTA for the purpose of this review.
