Aesthetics and Ergonomics
On opening the box i was met by a beast of a Stick kit, the diameter of both mod and tank is 25mm and the overall length comes to 137 mm so quite a size. I received the Purple kit and the mod and tank match well with very little difference in colour shade. The C-II is constructed of Stainless Steel and the Black version of the C-II has a very nice rubberised finish, the other colour versions have an In-mould labelling brushed metallic finish. The other colour options are Black, Green and Red, all versions come with Paragon Tanks that match in colour apart from the Black version due to the rubberised finish on the mod you get a matte mod and gloss finished tank. The mod has a nice size square protruding fire button with "II" etched on to it and at the bottom of the front is printed the Vaptio logo. The rear of the mod reveals the USB port towards the top and there is a venting hole on the bottom of the device. It has a spring loaded 510 and the 510 plate has air channels for tanks that require it. The overall build quality of both tank and mod is extremely good as well as being pleasing to the eye, as always with pen style devices ergonomically it is very good.

The C-II Mod
Although i think the Paragon Tank is a great match for the device the C-II can be used with other tanks and visa versa, with 25mm tanks sitting flush. The device is the usual 5 clicks to switch on and 5 clicks to switch off, once on simply press the fire button and vape. It fires instantly (The fire button feels nice and gives a satisfying click) and really performs well, but of course with being direct output as the battery decreases in voltage the wattage drops off. The C-II device does have things i really like about it but also has a big con. There are three things i really like about this device, first is the build quality, secondly is the 25mm diameter and finally it's how impressive the battery life is, this must have a few secret mAh's they are not telling us about. The device also has pass-through so you can vape while it's charging, always a plus in my opinion with inbuilt battery devices. The big con for the device is there is no battery life indication which i'm sure many will find a con, as you would expect the C-II has all the usual safety protections.

Paragon Overview
The Paragon tank is a nice looking and very well machined sub-ohm tank that with the Bubble glass (standard version) as an impressive 8ml capacity, the EU version of course comes fitted with a 2ml glass and the kit also includes a 4ml straight glass. The Paragon has dual cyclops with stopper and gives a ton of air, you get 2 identical coils included which are 0.2ohm mesh coils there is also a 0.15ohm strip coil available, the mesh coils are rated between 40w and 90w with a best between 60w and 80w. The Paragon is top-fill via the top-cap unscrewing from the tank (very good threading), once off 2 large filling ports are revealed. The filling ports have a silicone membrane that keeps the tank sealed so to fill you have to push the nozzle of your bottle past the membrane, displacing it, once filled and you have removed your nozzle the membrane reseals the tank. The membrane doesn't just add an extra seal but means the inside of the tank is barely exposed to the air during filling helping with the vacuum and preventing the leaking you can get after filling. The only con for me with the Paragon is that it comes with a 810 drip tip which has o-rings so goon style won't fit, after saying that the included drip tip is very comfortable to use.

Using The Kit
I have used the C-II before and have a few Paragon tanks but still gave it a go with one of the mesh coils included (used these coils a number of times) despite using a fresh coil i didn't see the point using the included Paragon Tank has i have one in my own personal use rotation so put the new coil in that tank. The mesh coil suits the C-II well and even when the power dropped i still got good flavour and the a decent vape for the entire battery life (drop off is noticeable towards the end though). The drop off you do get is the only way of having any idea about the status of the battery which is my only gripe with the C-II. I think Vaptio made the right move including 2 0.2ohm mesh coils rather than including a 0.15 strip coil as although the strip coil gives good flavour i find it does need more wattage so would suffer flavour wise as the C-II's power decreased. When using the Paragon independently on a regulated device i find the strip coil gives good flavour between 75 - 90w, but the mesh coil gives good flavour between 40w and 80w so you can get good flavour with less power.
