Looked in the section on their site where any firmware would be and it's as if they haven't done updates for any of their devices. The only suggestion I have to find out for sure is email them:

support@officialvgod.com

Thank you for contacting the Official VGOD Support Team. As a discontinued product, there will not be any firmware updates for the VGOD PRO 150W Box Mod.

That's the problem with such companies, after sales is non existent, any decent manufacturer would still offer support for products that no longer were being made, at least for a period of time but to be honest looking at their manuals firmware section it appears they never do upgrades for any products they make, a typical give us your money and now f&ck off company!

couldn't agree with you more

Not having a Firmware update isn't necessarily an issue, unless your device is playing up due to some software bug?

Firmware is simply embedded software, and if you take the old IBM, approach of; "do it right the first time", then you would never need an update. Microflop however introduced a concept whereby you purchase bug filled Beta software, that they then supply an ongoing stream of fixes, making it an acceptable practice  , and now we take it further by penalising those manufacturers that are in fact doing their jobs properly, and NOT providing hot fixes and or updates, because, well ... they're not required

was hoping some new features would come available like Vaporesso does

I guess a feature update as apposed an bug fix update would be nice of VGOD, however that assumes that they have both the internal memory and processing power for said features? It's also a little unfair comparing them to Vaperesso, who were a tad naughty with the Gen series, and masked design flaws with firmware updates, the worst of all being Ver.1.5 which bricked peoples mods, and was quickly replaced with another Ver1.5 suspiciously labeled Ver1.0_20200810. Only recently have the final bugs been ironed out with version 1.8, (some three years later ).

Cant seem to find the 1.8 version for Vaporesso that includes the new screen - if i do that firmware then i lose the new screen that came with the version 1.5 (1.0)
