Hi @Mauritz, if members want to rate your post as optimistic, they are entitled to their opinions

The history of this is as follows:

You will see in the Classifieds Rules, we do not allow members to comment on price unless they are making an offer. The reason for this is that the seller has a right to state their price and others should not comment on it. If they don’t like the price the product won’t sell. Then the seller can reduce the price. We do not want members to make comments on the pricing unless they are making an offer for what is being advertised.

Based on the above, we encourage members to make use of the rating icons instead. So if they think the price may be too high, they are free to rate the initial advert as “optimistic” without clouding the thread of the seller. This is good feedback to the seller because some sellers don’t know whether their price is reasonable and if they get this feedback it can serve to help.

The intention of the above is not for it to be abused but to offer a non intrusive way for members to give feedback of their opinions.
