Wotofo SMRT PnP Rebuildable Coil Kit

Overseas vendors started stocking these kits about a month ago.

Ten days ago I asked which SA vendors will be getting these kits. No response. The thread had 60+ views so there is some interest.

PnP coils are probably the most popular pod/pod mod/aio coil type. These coils are selling for around R90 per coil in SA. Using the rebuildable kit would cost around 10-20% of this cost.

The best thing about this rebuildable coil is that the taste/flavour is identical to the original and they are crazy simple to build. Most reviewers seem to take from 1-3 mins to build a coil.

Does anyone know of a local supplier who will be getting these kits?

59 of those views will be me! I want it badly as I'm tired of paying a huge price for 1 coil when I'm perfectly capable of building. I only use the RBA in my pod as I just cannot bring myself to pay R90 for 1 coil! I'll stick to my RBA in MTL until I can import my own kit as it's not going to be sold here anytime soon

I have that RBA deck but I cannot get it right, I've called that thing so many names it's not even funny. . I've completely given up.

This for me will be a game changer and looks easy enough to do!

It's strictly MTL with the RBA, and it took me 2 trips to the nut house before it worked for me, now it's close to my expro v4 in flavour! And these coils are definitely a game changer!

I also have the RBA deck.

I have no idea why they made a deck where the cotton exits the coil 90 degrees away from the juice ports. The screws are really tiny and at an odd angle.

I have stopped using mine.

Got my first set today, one SMRT Coil and two sets of spare mesh and cotton. Managed to get the first build done in about 3 minutes, it is as easy as falling out of a tree, just let go of the branch!

Mrs Chuck Norris Lungs loves it! So much so I had to order 4 more for her other PnP tanks. Now she'll be stocked up for a while.

Will do a quick video the with the next one I get and post it, you'll only have to watch it once.

Wotofo did real good with this one!

Hopefully they bring out a MTL mesh (and smaller bore coiling tool) as well, or one that is a bit higher than 0.2ohms. Will definitely experiment with some round wire builds as well at some stage, shouldn't be too difficult as you have plenty of space to work with compared to other RBA's.

Sure. But I don't care I'm a consumer remember and it's a personal win for me. They're all cheap "made in China" products with zero ethics anyway let them devour each other who cares.

Neither do i care, just pointing it out as there seems to be a recurring theme of no interest being shown in an idea but then someone copies it and it's hyped as an original idea!

Jip, Coil Master has been doing it for years, nobody even rants and raves about them being ahead of the pack... that is why they are called COIL MASTER... But the fact that Wotofo did something that can now be used in the ever so popular Voopoo pods (and the smok pods, and the obs pods and and and) does give them a bit of an advantage on ranting and raving about it. With all the pod kits now looking alike, it seems more that these guys a sell their designs off to other companies other than them copying it, one big happy family in China...

The Wotofo rebuildable coil is identical in design to Vapefly's even how it's built, not familiar with the Coil Master version might be done exactly the same way but your photo is too small to really see!

So far so good!

I am not using it myself, my wife does, and compared to the PnP coils she now wants a SMRT Coil in each of her PnP tanks.

Busy testing if it will last in excess of 7 days (which is the minimum a PnP lasts her with 18mg 50/50 juice, depending how hard she vapes in a week), we are on Day 4 today, no drop in flavor or performance yet (and she has been using the tank with the SMRT for the most of the time since Friday).

And the actual building of the coil is a breeze. I watched The Devil Vaper's tutorial once (over a week ago) and could build it without having to watch the tutorial again. All you need is your wire cutter and a pair of scissors with the SMRT Coil kit and you are good to go.

Bought this kit as well.

Just a tip...
One my first build it was leaking and flooding badly.
I watched some YouTube reviews and found the problem..
When you cut the cotton tails do not cut right against the deck, leave approx 1mm of cotton, push it flat with finger and then screw on cover.
Cutting to close to deck will result in flooding and leaking .

Of all three mesh types I find the "chill" one gives the best flavour.

No dude, this one is for the PnP tanks (Wotofo and Voopoo alike). The TPP coils are different, but I am sure someone will bring one out for the TPP soon.
