Congrats on 11 years @XTAR !

It's actually a lot harder than I thought it would be to think of something that has been with me for over 11 years! I will have to go with the watch I was given in 2005. Not an expensive one, but a hard work-horse!

I religiously purge so it is quite a stretch for me to have anything last that long.
The one thing that takes that honor is a designer jacket that I bought with one of my very first paychecks. I didn't realize just how expensive it was until it was way too late to back out of the sale without looking like a total chop. I cringed and swiped my card.
I still wear it from time to time to this day even though the fit somehow got a little bit tighter :p

The item that was with me the last 11 years is my wheelchair. I became disabled due to sickness and to have something to get around with without the help of ppl is amazing

The only thing that I can think of that has lasted me that long would be my pc desk, had it since I was in school and travelled with me every place I've moved to.

Luckily I like to keep my stuff for as long as possible, so I have a lot of things that have been with me for 11+ years. Like my parents:p. But I think my bed that I have been sleeping one my whole life (22years) is one of the more special ones, seeing that it was passed down from my father that used it till he got married and he got it from his grandfather. So it has been in the family for over 50 years. luckily the mattress isn't that old:D

I think the only thing i have left that is older than 11 years is my slingshot from 19 years ago (still in secondary school in welkom).

Its carved out of yellow wood and in the handle its got indigenous wood inserts from South Africa.

And i still use it from time to time. Just hard to find round "haasrek"

Man, the only thing which I have had for 11 years is... Probably some CD's I got when I was younger, Insane Clown Posse albums.
I had to import them from Look & Listen as they were not stocked locally.

They're also related to my forum name, which I got quite a while ago - but not quite 11 years ago.

1. I tend to keep things until they break before I replace them so I basically have a house full of stuff that are 11 years or older. I've had my trusty old car for 13 years and it's still going strong.
