Hey everyone,
So next up i have a small little travel charger from XTAR which i have used for around 2 weeks to get a good feel for this charger. This is my first review of a charger so its all new to me and i didnt know where to begin except to put in two batteries and use it as i would any other product and give my feedback. Xtar sent this charger to me for the purpose of review, so here goes!
Item Name : XTAR MC2S 2 Bay Travel Charger
Manufacturer: @XTAR
Website: https: http://www.xtar.cc/
Cost: N/A
*DISCLAIMER: This product was supplied to me by @XTAR for the purpose of reviewing the product for them and providing my personal feedback and opinion.
Let’s start off with some pictures: (Pictures from their website cause its great clear quality pictures)
What’s inside the box you ask?
1x Charger
1 x USB Cable
1 x User Manual
Technical specifications are also important, so here they are:
10440/14500/14650/16340/17335/
17500/17670/18350/18490/18500/
18650/18700/20700/21700/22650
25500/26650
*This charger cannot charge protected 20700 & 21700 Batteries.
So, what do I think about this Charger?
The charger comes packaged minimally but that does not matter as this small charger gets the job done perfectly. Being able to charge 2 batteries at 1Amp current makes for super-fast charging which is what one would want from a small travel charger. I have tested the charger using a normal Huawei quick charger rated at 5V 2Amps and works perfectly. The batteries are charged fully in around 1.3 hours which is great. There’s not much to talk about this charger as it’s a simplistic user-friendly charger that works.
What about Looks?
Is a tiny little travel charger that has minimal looks and no fancy screen. The LEDs will light up RED when the batteries are charging and change to GREEN once fully charged. Its very compact which makes it perfect to carry around out and about.
My Pro's
My Cons's
Cannot really find any? I could be picky and say maybe the USB cable could have been longer, but most people will probably just use the existing Cellphone USB charger cable.
My Verdict?
For such a small charger its powerful and gets the job done quickly and efficiently being intelligent without having any modes or functions to choose. Simply put this is plug and play and I love it! No need to carry around a big charger when going out.
Would I buy one or recommend one? Yes, this is a great travel charger which is small and does the job as required.
Thanks for taking the time in reading my review and feel free to give some feedback and comments as im always open to get other peoples views.
Cheers!!
