I think you have a better chance of the batteries being ok than the device, hehe.. DC when exposed to water for that short period of time should be all good... The device if you did not power it on should be fine as well, as long as you leave it to dry our completely... be patient on this one...

i'm running a single coil in mine, and have to say that I was also struggling my ass off with this one. First I tried the notch coils... that came out pretty quickly as the 5 mil one was hectic and kept on dry hitting because of the big coil... wicking on those are a bit iffy, need to play with...

The way the device has been made prevents this... I have heard of people having this issue with the DNA 200 chipped version of the device, but the old rx200 and new rx200s have a bit of a different battery tray... I have one as well and can tell you that you are going to have to be very careless...
