Burned plastic taste

setup vaporshark. w 15 . atty nautilus mini
coil tried nickel temp control , 1.6 ohm regularkanthal
( 2 each new from a packet).
liquid VM menthol ice 6mg .
tried from 2 different bottles . ( but bougth at the same time so i suppose same batch)

wet the new coil with one drop let it set fro 5 min after take a tooth and let it set for another 5 min .

normally this is fine , but today keep getting a burning plastic tatse in my mouth .

any suggestions ?

Burnt plastic taste is usually that little grommet that separates negative and positive legs of the coil.

That is possible yes

What happens when you lower the wattage? Still burnt taste?

if i lower it doesnt do enough vapour but taste feel similar

Then im sure your have a dud set of coils.

no idea ( reason : i open all the coil and separate them and divide them in a box when i buy them )

On the 1.6ohm mAN I had two full boxes of duds once. 10 coils down the drain. Switched to 1.8 ohm from same supplier and issue was solved. I hate Aspire coil quality control
