How to Make Your Own Healthier Peanut Butter

Geez I've been watching this for the whole 7:06 minutes  - where did I missed her saying that nothing is added? She could have done the whole vid in less than 1 minute, however I can now show my wife a trick in the kitchen for once.

Oh my God! Kill me now! Here is the abridged version for those who don't have much spare time...

Take a bottle of roasted peanuts and put them in the blender and give it horns till it turns into peanut butter! :D

Exactly - why can't she just say it in one sentence, for the sake of murphy its easier than multi-tasking!

Sorry for the long vid guys, I made this myself last night before watching anything or looking at any recipes. And I got stuck at the stage just before it turns to a smooth texture. I then decided to add a spoon of oil, to help it blend. Not knowing that I should have just kept at it for a few more minutes.

That was the reason I chose this one over many of the others. To show that you do not need to add any oil when making it.

Thanks @Alex! We do appreciate all your research... we were just pulling the piss a little!

I am in fact a Peanut Butter connoisseur and a specialist of note! I in fact would have watched the whole thing anyway!

Yum Yum crunchy is the best PB on the planet!

Between my two sons and I, we go through a ton of peanut butter every week. A normal size container usually goes in about 2 days:confused:

Our 5 year old is allergic to Peanuts, so we stay away from Peanut butter....

I treat my self to a peanut brittle when he is at the Grand parents....LOVE PEANUT BUTTER

Ye we also a peanut butter household. Bottle of peanut butter hardly lasts. Definitely going to give this a try

I made my own peanut butter a while back, pretty much like @Rob Fisher said, but I added a bit of honey in the final stages, epic stuff!

Also... use the same method with roasted cashews and chuck it over some vanilla ice cream, yum yum se image.jpg

i too am a peanut butter lover

i cant live without the stuff

my favorite is peanut butter on fresh bread that just came out of the oven HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM

or peanut butter on toast

or peanut butter on rice cakes

or peanut butter sandwich with banana

or peanut butter with honey milkshake

did i mention i love peanut butter?

Unfortunately peanuts are not Banting friendly but my wife made me a loaf using the rather more expensive Almond Butter and it's actually quite nice! It's certainly not government white bread but when you are craving a piece of bread it's a pretty good substitute!

I have two peanut butter fueled protein shakes a day. Makes the awful tasting protein so much better :)

I have done something similar with almonds, cashews and macadamias. All delicious! Sometimes I add some coconut oil if it's too dry too and a little salt to just bring everything forwards a little
