Vape Cartel, its just down the road, go there.
Yes! Super friendly and knowledgeable staff, a huge selection of juice and hardware and a really comfortable vibe. Even if it's a bit out of the way it's really worth it!
 
I think vape king has become to big to manage quality control successfully
I wouldn't say that. Every other VK I've been to I have received awesome service. I think it's just the one in the South that's not great. I visited that store not long after it opened and it wasn't great back then either.

It has taken me all day to work up the courage to reply to this post because honestly I am embarrased. We take great pride in our Brand and getting feedback like this for me is like telling me someone has died and while it is something one does need to know it is upsetting.

I am truly sorry that you had this awful experience. The Alberton store is not owned by Head Office and is a franchisee, they have strict rules where they are supposed to stick to some fundamental rules and seeing this honestly makes me want to shut the store down right away.

Vape King Alberton

Well, what a disappointment.

The shop is small, dirty, and has that porn/sex shop vibe, which is cool if that is what you are after...

The staff? Abysmal. Two dudes, who look and act as if they would be at home in some skaterbooi video or as extra's in a youtube "here hold my beer while i"..

At any rate, the experience left me vowing never to set foot in that particular shop again.

Low stock levels, few devices, and lots of "its on the website man".

Perhaps getting rid of the comfy couch and adding some ventilation, and maybe a window clean, and a general wash would help.

As to the staff... still not sure if they have surfaced from their post party daze..

Firstly I would like to sincerely apologize for the experience you had at our store. I have had a chat to the guys, but I would like a bit more detail on your experience with the staff so that I can further the discussion to ensure a better experience in future. Kindly Pm me your details.

Our store has a full clean on a weekly basis, and sometimes twice weekly, as for example the windows. The VG in the vape tends to sit on the windows, hence we clean it at least twice a week.

The counters are also cleaned daily, and during the day as needed.

At our store we mostly keep the up to date mods, and not a lot of the older stock. We do from time to time run out, but we are restocked on a weekly basis as well. This practice is acceptable in retail and is practiced by many major retailers from food to clothing and other specialized stores.

We do however offer the service of ordering in any special requests on products not on hand at the time. We always check the website to ensure availability before promising the ordered item to a client.

We have also found the size of the store adequate to service the clientele in the area. There are however future plans to upgrade the store.

I have uploaded a few pictures I took of the store as soon as I became aware of the issue. I would appreciate feedback on how we can improve the current store better.

I wouldn't say that. Every other VK I've been to I have received awesome service. I think it's just the one in the South that's not great. I visited that store not long after it opened and it wasn't great back then either.

When we opened the store was a lot different to what it currently is. Pop past for the free fresh off the bean coffee always on offer and see it for yourself.

Popped into the newest Vape King branch again for a visit... Vape King Monte Casino! I also popped into Vape King Fourways to get some vape mail! ;-)

Vape King - Bellairs Mall

I ordered my first mod and juice off the website from Vape King and was very satisfied with the response and delivery time.

So thinking that they already had a tick in my good books I decided to go try out the shop in Bellairs Mall as I needed new coils and replacement glass for my Cloud Beast.

Just like my visit to another Vape shop before I had my toddler with me, who luckily, sat quietly in the trolley while waiting for me.

Firstly the three young guys behind the counter found it extremely funny that I was happy that they did have stock of not only 1 but 2 replacement glasses for my tank, which I've been searching for for over a week. So much so that they thought it good to make fun of my enthusiasm.

Then when I asked for coils for both my tanks I got yet another laugh because apparently me and my daughter was the peanut gallery and I was unsure of which coils to get.

I have to say that the advice, guidance and assistance from this shop was actually quite shitty. As a new vaper you'd expect these guys to be a little more helpful when they can clearly see that I'm not sure about what it is that I need to buy.

Sorry to say, I'm sticking to Vape Rite from now on. I'll never walk into another Vape King just to get ridiculed and laughed at again.

So sad to hear when customers are treated like shyte.
This is the reason why i am also done with certain vendors of which Vapemob is one of them. I am so close to doing a youtube video and naming and shaming the vendors that think they are the cows tits. I have many pm messages of fellow forum members that have had bad experiences with big name vendors.
Without customers they are nothing and that should be lasered into their heads. :)

Luckely my nearest vapeshop is Viking vape in Bloemfontein and I must say the service I get from @Waltervh and his team is outstanding. One thing I am working on is teaching them to squonk property.

Sorry to hear that you had a bad experience there @QKNatasha . I normaly get good service there, but maybe thats because I only deal with @Dr Phil, If I go there and Phil is not there, then I turn around and pop in another day.

100% @Quakes i only deal with @Dr Phil as well .... he is a true gentlemen and none of this nonsense with him
 
Very uncool by the shop assistants, your money is just as good as anyone else's, that they should disrespect you like that is completely unacceptable.
 
Have been using VK Fourways for years and have always been impressed with the friendly service i get there. The acknowledgement when you walk in, even if they are busy makes you feel at ease with the wait.

Now i am so glad they have opened one down the road from me in Honeydew and the staff there are just as friendly, or maybe because it was an empty sunday because i ended being there for a good few minutes :D jokes. Keep it up VK, if i can get same good service from 2 different stores, its a good sign.
