For the Petina to work properly, you do have to strip off the red copper. When you're on the yello copper, the Petina works 100%. Use the purest Ammonia you can find and normal table salt. It took me about 3 days to get the correct cover. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

So I eventually took the plunge and made up some fused Clapton. I used 2 strands of 24g Nichrome and wraped it in 30g kanthal. I used it for dual coils and 5 wraps around a 3.5mm ID bit. The piece of wire at the top of the coils are normal 26/28clapton I bought and is there for a scale...
