Finally built my Subtank Mini RBA a coil!

I'll try that the next time. Also, I'll drop to 5 wraps instead of 6 - that should get me closer to 0.8 ohm and also make mounting the coil on the posts easier...

Finally built my Subtank Mini RBA a coil!

I did a dry burn prior to inserting the wick to specifically test this. heated up (turned red, then yellow) nicely from the centre of the coil outwards. The goal behind using spaced coils was to try and avoid the burnt feeling (not taste so much - felt like smoke hitting the back of my throat)...

Finally built my Subtank Mini RBA a coil!

I finally jumped in and built a coil! I was only planning on re-wicking the standard 0.5 ohm coil that came with the RBA, but after I got the thing open and saw the wire and snips I bought a week ago glaring accusingly at me, I thought I might as well give it a bash! 28ga Kanthal 6 spaced...

    eCigs Lonely Hearts :)

I got onto the R21 at the Nelmapius offramp (near Irene Mall) early last week (don't remember the exact date as I do this every morning) at about 06h30-ish behind a grey VW Polo. An Indian gentlemen pushing clouds out the driver side window...

Vapemail, baby! Thanks, @Mike! BTW - the top cap of a Powerade bottle makes a pretty decent atty stand!

    A silly question

Jet engines use oxygen in the atmosphere to burn (liquid) fuel. Rocket engines carry their own oxidizing agents (not always oxygen) to mix and react with their fuel (not always liquid). How close am I, @DaveH?

What's in your hand right now?

Hammocking is like vaping in that, once you scratch the surface, it becomes an ever-deepening rabbit-hole. It's awesome!

    The best MTL RTA

With the Subtank I've found that, coming off the Twisp Clearo, I need to move the airflow ring to between the small and medium holes (effectively almost closing the airflow completely) to give the same kind of resistance (drag) as the Twisp. I AM trying, however, to get used to the...

How far do you drive to work ?

Not if you sit in traffic for 45min to an hour to drive the 50kms... then half a tank on a Twisp Clearo is JUST enough. hehe!

How many cigarettes did you smoke?

Started smoking at varsity - 2002. I was on 20-30 cigs a day. Started off buying different brands every day just for variation, but settled on Marlboro Gold and later moved on to Pall Mall (Princeton) blue. Smoked a lot of Dunhill in Zambia in 2012 (dirt cheap there!) and went through a...

    Mouth-to-lung

Just got my Subox kit today and I can confirm BumbleBee's statement above. With this in mind, can anyone advise if (apart from aesthetics) there would be any problems if one of the airflows on the airflow ring were to be temporarily blocked off (with a piece of sticky tape for example)?
