I just want to give a upvote for the boost. I have been using it for a month or so now and its been a total pleasure (took me a week to figure out how to fill it without messing ) but besides that its been my favourite device ever. And the rba pod is super easy to build on. Good luck...
I don't have too much experience with cbd but had a housemate who uses cbd to help manage inflammation and when vaping it they used a "koi zen" device which is a rebranded uwell caliburn from what I could tell.
This thread reminded me of this video I found a while back and the first vid I saw where someone did a test and I found it to really help (also quite interesting to see).
It's a bit of a long watch but if you rebuild I thought it was a really cool test.
I haven't built on mine recently and going to sell it soon cause I've switched over to a smaller pod (the Jester). That being said, I really enjoyed using the Zeus X.
The only thing I can think of is not using enough cotton in your build. There is a vid on youtube about wicking in general (will...
I picked up ni80 36g from these guys for my claptons... http://nockers.co.za/welcome-to-nockers-engineering-products
They even gave me info of what the wire is tested at and the composition etc, from what I could tell it is good wire and was pretty damn cheap.
Bummer on the loosing the mod but this has to be one of the best opening lines to a post I've read.
I like having the option to tweak the wattage on regulated, and a little safety backup is never a bad thing :)
Hey, just some battery tips (if you are still figuring all this out :))
The mah is basically the battery capacity (So your 3000mah is going to last longer charge wise during the day compared to 2600mah).
The Amp rating is how many amps you can safely vape it at (one should try avoid vaping at...
So I don't have a griffin and generally prefer single coils (not much help at this point) but I am a huge fan of claptons.
Flavour is usually pretty good on claptons regardless of the build, I'd say just don't make the coils too large to start off with as claptons have a longer ramp up time...
Alien Wire (4 cores)
Latest build, 28g kanthal cores and 36g ni80 for the clapton.
Comes to 0.35 ohms.
For anyone who doesn't know, you wrap the outer ni80 on 26g kanthal then you can fit 4 28g cores instead of the usual 3 cores for alien wire.
Funny I'm reading this now because two nights ago I mixed up exactly this!
It's very much still in the working phase but excited to hear how yours comes out.
Will also post if it turns into something vapeable :)
Yeah building coils is awesome (can really improve/ get your vape how you like).
I'm a sucker for the Geekvape tsunami (for the dripper), very easy to build on.
And as far as mods go a single 18650 mod (eg: evic vtc mini) is what I started dripping with, it will just depend on your builds if...
This is awesome, I remember reading about this somewhere. Kind of feels like starting with a tank which only uses "prebuilt" coils then getting your first RTA.
I'm sure a lot of people won't want to mix their own (same with making their own coils) but for the others, this will be great.
I'm a huge fan of clapton coils.
Alien wire is essentially a fused clapton with 3(usually) or two cores. Alien wire is my go to build, this coil wicks juice really well and this is why the flavour is so good (imo), I have feeling the reason Aliens with two cores are sold is because it is just...
