Is anyone planning on buying from 3FVape, or Fasttech in the near future?
If there are a couple, maybe we can go the GB route again and get DHL shipping instead of the "hopefully in the next month" option?

My last buy from Fasttech took exactly 1 month to get here. Its currently at the PO waiting for me to pick up. Not bad concidering the huge strike in Hong Kong.

But just keep an eye on the exchange rate. The rand is not so hot right now.

Yeah, i ordered some stuff from France yesterday. Paid almost 15% more than i did a few months ago

This is true... well, let's keep an eye on things, I am not in a hurry.
I have a package that has been "on transport to destination country" since 12 July... Neither PostNL or Fasttech can tell me where it is or when it is expected to arrive...

I will keep an eye on the exchange rate and update here regularly.
I suggest anyone who who is interested, get your SKU numbers of the items you want in the meantime (Fasttech), so we can do this at short notice if the exchange rate looks good.
I think for fairness, as people would have vastly differing items, I will split the shipping proportionally to the value of your share of the shipment.

Plese give me a quick indication of whether you would be in on a DHL option by the end of this week and also what you are (roughly) looking at getting from them? At this point, it looks like my basket would be around the $120 mark. I just want to get an idea what the others will be doing, just to see if the DHL option would be worth going for (as I am not keen on doing 80% on the fee on my own, lol).

Everyone is welcome to jump in.
There will be a strict cash-to-confirm rule and shipping will be split according to the relative value of your share of the order.
I need to note that this will be primarily shipped to Woodmead in Jhb, so bear that in mind if you need to have it couriered to a final destination.

Ok. not the ideal site for me, but i can go with it as some of the stuff is there.
Im on about $40 so far, need to spend a few hours looking properly and revise though.

I would like to start compiling the lists and adding items to my cart.
Once you have all the items you want, please PM me with all the SKU numbers as soon as possible.

Just to recap, everyone is welcome to join in on this.
The buy will be on Fasttech and will be delivered via DHL to my office in Woodmead.
Participants are welcome to collect from my office, or I can arrange a forwarding courier to your door for R75 per parcel.
The current exchange rate is R15.15/$1.00, but PayPal always has a higher exchange rate for some reason. For this reason, let's please fix the exchange rate at R16.00/$1.00. Please also allow for the usual 5% Paypal fee and approximately 10% in customs duty.
The delivery cost should be somewhere between $40-$50 (will be updated to the actual fee before payment) and will be split proportionately between buyers. I just think it is the most fair way to do it, no use in paying an equal share if one person only buys a spool of wire, versus someone else buying a mod, atomizers etc.
I will update the balance sheet after every payment made (PayPal, customs etc) and any positive balance owed to a buyer will be repaid via EFT, or off-set against a forwarding courier fee, if needed.
