Picked up the RX200 today, OMG what a beautiful mod and so well made.

I have 2 fully charged batteries and a new one I bought today which is flat. I plug the device in to USB charge, after the imbalance message it charges for 10 minutes then stops.

Am I correct to assume that the only way to now charge the flat cell is via my external charger at home?.

And any neat tips or tricks that is not in the manual?.

Also I haven't been prompted "new or old" atomizer when swapping tanks, is this normal or am I doing something wrong?.

Never mind about the new or old prompt, I see it does it in TC mode.

Regarding the batteries you should go ahead and charge them externally.

I charged on board for about 6 weeks and never got a full charge. I also had to rotate the batteries to avoid the unbalanced message.

My batteries are fine now that I'm charging externally and they last longer.

Definitely use an external charger

Tip
When doing software updates remove all batteries

The recommendation for mod updates is usually to remove batteries and / or atties.
My guess is that it's more of a precautionary requirement as everything gets reset and not necessarily always in a predictable or controlled fashion.
It will prevent cooking your favorite atty and the board if the mod spuriously fires during this cycle.

Makes sense! Thanks
