Any Experience With Mesh Wicking - Input Appreciated

Hi all,

I have an RDTA and a Gemmy coming for the Boro Tank from Bear Lair Mods in Russia both of which use mesh for wicking, well the Panda RDTA is Hybrid but really want to do some builds using Mesh for the wick.
Of course i have watched a few videos and it seems quite straightforward but any additional input of any kind would be really appreciated. For example what is the best Micron to use etc.

Don't under wick you'll get some juice in the mouth as it over saturate.
Wicking to much will give you a bad dry hit, and believe dry hit on mesh ain't for sissies....
This only out my own experience and opinion....

It's not using mesh as your heating wire, it's mesh wicking

It was an interesting read though luckily what i have coming are purpose built for mesh wicks

Just oxidise the wick material and I would say make it work for you.wick must be rolled tight enough to draw enough liquid. Microns is not really the issue as you can wick SS cable with good results and that's in MM.

Knowing the microns makes no difference is a great help!

Both look interesting.
Mesh allows liquid to flow more free than cotton.unless there's a rubber grommet in the RDTA it should be kept upright as far as possible

If my build turns out as well as that performance England put in against the All Blacks then it will be awesome!

He opened it to show the wicking and explained in a foreign language.I also watched it on my phone so it didnt make sence to me because I dont have one to reference with.maybe you will understand better with the atty in your hand.

@Timwis I had a look at the review again. I can see clearly what he's explaining without understanding what he says. You might have a better understanding with the atty infront of you.

Yeah, i believe i have them both worked out just waiting for my mesh and flamethrower to arrive
