I have 3 different makes of doohickey. They all say the same. In addition, when I then transfer a battery just charged on the Efest LUC6 to my Intellicharger, it carries on charging and reads 4.21 on the doohickeys when finished. Yip, think the calibration on the Efest is not right?
or turn it into a R750 paperweight.Definitely the Efest Luc6 faulty voltage detection circuitry - a decent techie should be able to fix the calibration.
Just double check your batteries' C-rating (download the datasheet from manufacturer as vendors seldom supply same) to verify if 3A charging is/not recommended. Note: charging a 2600mA battery with a 1C rating will overheat and the life cycle of same will be reduced, same goes for a 3400mAh battery with a 0.5C rating, but that's just my opinion. PS: batteries will not explode at a 3A constant current charging but the higher internal temperature rise will have a negative impact on its life cycle.
