Alright, folks, let’s talk about the Blaze Pro Max RTA from Thunderhead Creations. Before we dive in, I want to address something upfront—I originally wrote a fluffier version of this preview, but after some solid feedback from the community, I realized I was being lazy. That won’t happen again. These previews aren’t just about hype and sales (I’m not getting paid for them or my reviews). They’re here to start real conversations about the products we use.

Now, onto the Blaze Pro Max RTA. I used the original Blaze RTA, and I’ll be honest—I loved it. I personally tend to prefer bottom airflow because, in my experience, it delivers better flavor. But the original Blaze, despite being top airflow, surprised me in a big way. If the Blaze Pro Max is anything close to its predecessor, we might just have a solid contender on our hands.

What We Know So Far

:wrench:
Top Airflow, Leak-Resistant Design – Just like the original Blaze RTA, this one features a top airflow system, which means fewer leaks and a different take on flavor delivery.

:wrench:
Postless Build Deck – Designed to accommodate dual coils with ample room for creativity.

:wrench:
Large Capacity & Top Fill – We’re looking at a spacious e-liquid reservoir with an easy top-fill system.

:wrench:
Refined Airflow System – Thunderhead Creations claims improved airflow for better flavor and vapor production. We’ll see how it stacks up.

Who’s It For?

Whether you’re a cloud chaser, a flavor fiend, or someone looking for a high-performance RTA, the Blaze Max Pro aims to tick all the boxes.

What I’m Curious About

Flavor Performance – Top airflow usually means sacrificing a bit of flavor density. The first Blaze handled it well, so can the Pro Max do even better?

Build Quality – Thunderhead Creations generally delivers solid construction, but we’ll have to see if they’ve made any improvements.

Ease of Building – A postless deck can be fantastic or frustrating, depending on the execution.

Final Thoughts (For Now)

The Blaze Pro Max RTA has some strong points on paper, and if it lives up to the original Blaze RTA, we could be looking at another winner. But I won’t know for sure until I get my hands on it and put it through its paces. Expect a full, honest review once I’ve had time to build on it, vape it, and see if it truly delivers.

What do you think? Is this one on your radar, or are you waiting for the verdict before making a move?

I am very confused about the blaze pro max when the blaze max already exists.

And the blaze max is though thunderhead creations

But the blaze pro max is by thundercloud creations.

Very confusing
I mean the pro max has the 8ml tank so I get that but why have 2 products by 2 different companies that clearly split off the same way that lve and lost vape split...

The Blaze Pro Max is a big 30mm RTA. They chose to go big with this one.

I am not sure what the Thunderhead / ThunderCloud story is. I have noticed that Thunderhead do not seem to be working with influencers to design their stuff any more, where ThunderCloud is working with Mike Vapes and Vaping Bogan.

I could have this completely wrong though.

yeah Blaze Max is also 30mm

that is what is so confusing to me.

Well. You got me there.

Tell you what, though, as soon as I get the Blaze Pro Max, I will do a full breakdown and review of it. Unfortunately, I don't have the Blaze Max to compare it to, but I will do my best to try and find some comparisons to see what has changed.
If anybody has a Blaze Max I can borrow for a bit so that I can do a 1 on 1 comparison, it would help me a lot to give you the best possible review.

I intend to buy either one for my DIY vape when I eventually finish that.
at the moment the only one I have found from local VEndors is the Blaze Pro.

but I have exceeded my vape budget for the month already (totally worth it) so I will only be buying one next month.

wonder if I will be labeled a Fan boy? I have the blaze Solo, the Blaze 26mm, and now the blaze Boro. soon it will also be the Blaze Max....

If you like something, why not go all out?
I'm the same way with my Yacht Vape Eclipse RTA. I have 2 of the single coil versions and 1 of the dual coil setups. They just give the best flavour I have ever gotten out of an RTA, so now, if I see one, I buy it.

Which local vendors have the pro I would like to get one.

It doesn't look like anyone has the Pro yet. I have a feeling I will get the first one in SA when mine arrives.

The Blaze of Glory: When Vaping Titans Butt Heads (But in a Good Way)

Ever feel like the vaping world is just bleating out the same old tunes? Well, hold onto your horns, folks, because the Thunderhead Creations (THC) and ThunderCloud saga is about to shake things up more than a goat in a tin shack. We're not just talking about another rehashing of old designs; we’re diving into a full-blown collaborative rodeo, where the “Blaze” series is the prize-winning bucking bronco.

Thunderhead Creations, those master craftsmen of vaping hardware, have built a reputation that’s as solid as a mountain goat’s footing. They've given us RDAs, RTAs, and mods that aren’t just tools, but works of art—all designed to make your clouds billow like a herd of angry goats on a windy day. Their secret weapon? A knack for collaborating with vaping royalty, especially the legendary Mike Vapes.

Now, Mike Vapes isn’t just some guy blowing clouds on YouTube; he’s a design guru, a vaping visionary, and the mastermind behind the “Blaze” series. And here’s where things get interesting—or, as I like to say, where the goats start to get a little frisky.

ThunderCloud, a brand that’s as closely tied to THC as a kid to his favorite nanny goat, also works hand-in-hoof with Mike Vapes. This isn’t a coincidence; it’s a full-on collaboration extravaganza. Think of it as a vaping tag team, with THC and ThunderCloud passing the “Blaze” torch back and forth like it’s a hot potato—or, in this case, a hot RDA.

The “Blaze” series, therefore, isn’t some exclusive, single-brand wonder. It’s a collaborative masterpiece, a testament to what happens when vaping titans join forces. Mike Vapes, with his design prowess, is the shepherd guiding this herd, and both THC and ThunderCloud are the trusty sheepdogs bringing his vision to life. This means you’ll find “Blaze” RDAs and RTAs from both brands, which can be as confusing as trying to herd goats in a hurricane.

But let’s be clear: this isn’t some turf war. It’s more like a synchronized cloud-chucking ballet, where both brands are working together to deliver vaping excellence. They’re not butting heads; they’re butting clouds, and the result is a line of products that are as innovative as they are impressive.

Think of it this way: THC is the seasoned veteran, the wise old billy goat with years of experience, while ThunderCloud is the agile young buck, bringing fresh ideas and a modern twist. And Mike Vapes? He’s the charismatic leader, the goat herder extraordinaire, ensuring that the “Blaze” series stays on the right path.

So, when you see a “Blaze” RDA, don’t scratch your head in confusion. Embrace the collaboration, appreciate the innovation, and remember—in the world of vaping, sometimes it takes a herd to make a legend.

Want to experience the “Blaze” for yourself? Head over to ThunderheadCreations.com and use my totally-not-made-up discount code “oldgoat” for a sweet deal. And remember, whether you’re dripping or squonking, these RDAs are the G.O.A.T. of the vaping world.

Until next time, keep those coils glowing and those clouds billowing! And if anyone from THC or ThunderCloud is reading this, please, for the love of all that is vape, use a decent shipping service next time. My nerves can’t take another postal adventure. And if you’re feeling generous, maybe throw in a new mod that can handle these beasts? Just saying…
