E-Cigarettes in the Far East?

Hey guys,

The Mrs. and I are travelling to the Far East soon - Thailand as well as Malaysia.

I have heard that Thailand are a bit sticky over the use/sale of e-cigarettes and a few people have had a hard time entering and exiting the country with their devices.

Can anyone shed some light on taking your own device as well as e-liquid into the country and has anyone been recently?

Is Malaysia similarly strict?

Not too sure about Thailand itself because I've heard that vape gear is readily available in the street markets but when I enquired about it the main issue was going with Emirates and the connecting flight from Dubai, they're really strict about it there and it's banned so even if you're in transit they may confiscate your vape gear and juice

In Malaysia You will have NO PROBLEM AT all.
The only places that You might have some mess is in little villages with local laws.
About Thailand I think thatvthe usage of e-cig is forbiden..

It's our honeymoon so sadly not... We are going for the MotoGP instead
