Good day ladies and gents

So I bought a new Zues X to try get the bill down on the coils I use on the smok baby x beast. Love the beast but I know I wont be able to keep up with the coils.

So I have been doing rebuilding previously and rocked a goliath v2 for a long time. But as the interwebs say and some of the members on the forum the Zues is a no fuss no leak badboy.

So I like to vape around 1.5 ohm and would like to know what is the best setup for this tank. Any tips or tricks when wicking

Have some 24g stainless wire here that I bought around 2 years ago, can I use it. Will be trying the ready made coils in the box 1st

Thank you

What coils were you using in the X-Baby tank?

I've got 3 Zeus X tanks in rotation and I run them with dual 3mm ID Aliens at between 0.16 to 0.25ohm. I used to use Geekvape Fused Clapton wire to make my own coils, 3mm ID, 6 wraps, 0.22ohm every time.

I normally vape at between 55 to 60w.

V8 X-Baby X4 Coil 0.13 ohm Quadruple Coil, and vape it around 50w

What is the ones that is included with the tank?

Should I be looking at getting different wire? The amount I know about the newest wire available will make the oopsie this week in Lebenon look like a coke and mentos mixture

You could probably use the wire you have. If you're new to rebuildables though, I have to ask whether you're using a regulated mod?

I am not that new to rebuilding, use to build on the Goliath. Stopped vaping for about 2 and something years and when I got back into it the commercial coils was just easy to go for. But spending alot of cash over the last 4 months to get coils made me realize why I started building coils back then. R80 for a 2 week vape and after week one you loose half the flavor anyway. Will keep the X Baby around and ready to go as I still have about 5 coils for it.

When the clapton, SS and all the other wire came out I never experimented with them and kept with the kanthol wire.

Will look into the latest and greatest wire once I am into it again. I know you can get a fair amount of time out of the coil with regular re wicking

Are you not burning your coils clean and re wicking the same coils? I have re wicked the same coils multiple times.

Your existing stainless steel wire won't ever deteriorate until you start thermally loading it in my opinion.

In that case, go for it with the wire you have. In my experience (I also had the X-Baby when I started vaping), even plain round wire coils in the Zeus will give better flavour than that. And you will definitely save on coils. I probably go through a pack of Cotton Bacon in 2 months (about the same lifespan for the fancy coils).

I use dual 2.5mm ID nano aliens that I got from Lazy Panda. It's the best flavour I have ever had in my ZEUS X tank. The resistance is 0.2 ohms and I vape at around 65W.
