Have you Removed the balance board out of the mod?
This was advised on all ipv4 models as it was giving problems.

It would be better if you have removed the charging port / balance board

Never had any issues with the board so didn't see the point of removing it.

The charging port / balance board. Is a loose board that sits near where the 510 is. This board is not insulated, any sharp bump or drop of the mod.. The board can touch the + and - points of the battery tray and vent batteries. there have been quite a few of the ipv4 vent and ruin the mod. They came out with the ipv4s which has no charge port. its a completely useless risk to the mod. I removed mine the day I got my ipv4

But I know of many who have left it in and been fine. But it is a concern. Who ever buys the mod should do it. Just saying.
