@Baxteen I've never had any issues with the Batt Door but I guess I've always used it with the leather cover on which goes over the bottom of the mod and clips at the bottom.

yeah there are a few people who are lucky.

but the problem is in the design. the amount of material that handles the mechanical forces is just not enough. the plastic will 100% break at some point. you can 3d print a replacement. or maybe have one CNC machined to repalce it when it breaks.

I had one donated that had a bad fall. bottom hinge was broken and the screen was busted. currently wortking on a custom mod with that board.
taking that one appart showed me just how well made every other part of the device is. its literally just the bottom hinge that is a problem.

the Centaurus fixed the door problem to an extent.

Sweet, not that old really for a DNA board considering mine is 2020.

Thanks for the update, still plenty of life left seeing that my Envy22 is still working from Jan 2016.
