Varkpanne as we called them in SA ... that brings back some kak military memories
and getting electric shocks from creating static on these slides. My friends would do it to me and a few of the others, even themselves for the fun of it.
On that note, we used to rub our butts on the plastic school chairs and stand up quickly to touch someone to transfer a electric shock. It was quite funny watching unsuspecting fellow pupils or teachers getting shocks.
Love my set. Different coloured ball point pens weren't that common either in those days. I still used a fountain pen in junior school.

I was in for the long haul. Ten years. Then they changed the name of my Country and I was released on parole as my contract was to the old name. Bet my answer had you worried for a moment. LOL.
