So yeah, don't over tighten those threads on your clearo/atomizers. Ruined my one kangertech emow. The bottom ring which screws onto the battery separated from the rest because it was screwed on too tight. So basically now I can't get the tank open to refill it. Fortunately I have two of them so I can keep on vaping. O well, was looking for an excuse to get an Aerotank V2...

Sorry to hear about your misfortune @RobbedZombie, I am also a serial overtightener:confused:..can relate.

I was wondering about how to protect the threads. Do you folks think copperslip is safe to use on vape gear.

I wouldn't try it. You never know how some greases or lubricants will react to the heat and or mix with the juice. I can't imagine it would be safe to inhale fumes like that. But honestly, I just don't know. I guess the best would be to contact the manufacturers of your device and maybe they could give some tips?

I wouldn't use any type of lubricant. Just keep the threads clean. Grease tends to attract dust, grit and pocket fluff. So unless you clean and regrease after removing the atty everytime you essensially end up with cutting paste in your threads.
