Dude you are gonna love the mPT2. Its a beautiful little device, easy to clean, easy to maintain. If you are to still put your order through I would suggest getting a spare glass for it as well, they are not expensive. As the thank is steel and pyrex the pyrex can break and it is always handy to have a spare tube at hand.

If you still haven't put your order through then rather get a mPT3!

Why not get both ;)

Agree, one can never have enough tanks, especially with all the flavour options out there..

Or better still get 2 x mPT3's! Or better still an Aerotank or better still a Nautilus! :D

The mPT2 is tried and tested. The mPT3 is new and not tried and tested. I agree with your initial thoughts, get one of both. Bear in mind that the mPT2 is stainless steel, whilst the mPT3 is chrome plated. But, with @Rob Fisher's review in mind, the newer one shall give the better vape - we just do not know for how long.

I have noticed that as well.. I personally think that it has got to do with air in the tank.. there is more air when the tank is half full and that allows for the flavour to be more pronounced imo

I have found that with my Twisp the last 1/3 becomes a little burnt tasting and nothing like the start. If you hold it on its side it leaks into your mouth but no burnt taste and if you hold it upright the Twisp doesnt leak but you need to refill when it reaches roughly half empty.

Interesting, I and three buds from work have bought in the last 2 weeks and none of them leak. It does collect some condensation in the well beneath the mouthpiece which needs to be wiped or flicked out about twice a day but no real leaks if it's put together right. Just left mine on it's side overnight with a full clearo and no trace of residue on the table :)

The short wicks on the top coil do indeed need to touch the liquid frequently to keep the vape good so tilting/swirling is a must. Have to make sure to do so after every 2 or 3 drags if you're holding it upright. Holding it sideways-ish while vaping solves that issue.

I love the fact that the Twisp Clearo converts stinkies to vapers but the sooner one gets a better vaping device the better!

:( My package from Eciggies.co.za should be delivered at home any moment now. And I'm stuck at work.
Expecting these goodies:
Vision spinner 1300mah
mPT2
spare charger

If there was ever one downside to the vaping it's that the supplies are not readily available. You can buy a pack of 20 stinkers anytime anywhere, but us vapers have to have sooooo much patience and forward planning.

Can't wait till I get home this evening! Struggling to work or think of anything else but my new vape gear :(

I feel your pain on all levels!

I have to go for my Golf lesson now and I know there is a courier van somewhere on it's way to me! :(

True, but improving by leaps and bounds, Super Frog. Do enjoy your new gear and tell us about it. Hope you have some good juice to complement.

Haha you're the only person so far to figure out the superfrog thing :D

And have managed to spend a little bit of quality time with the mPT2 glued to my lips. This fing is vapetastic!

Had a bit of gurgle on the second fill but a solid blow through the tank while removed from the battery sortes that out fast. Nice vapour. Can almost call it better quality vapor from what ive experienced already.

The spinner has made a difference on the iclear 16 but im not impressed yet. Especially when comparing to the mPT2.

Will write some reviews if I get some time between work and the baby.

Thanks for all the advice thus far. Ecigssa rocks!

I seem to have a numb tongue when vaping on the protank. Wonser why this is. Perhaps juice related? Or maybe just plain overvaping?

With the mPT2 the when refilling the tank make sure the coil is tightened down. Tighten it and then give it one more tug and it should go down a bit further then you are sorted.

Also if you want a bit more flavour what I found works for me is cutting that grommet on the top of the coil into a washer.. more wick is exposed and you get a better vape at higher volts.

Also if you vape a single flavour for too long you will stop tasting it.. Try to change up your flavours throughout the vape session will help to keep the taste buds fresh and don't forget to drink water. Some peeps suffer from dry mouth when vaping.

I'm running the standard 2.2 ohm coil that came with the mPT2. Seems that 4.2 does well for me in terms of balance. I like the vapour volume with even a little more voltage (up to 4.5) but then the flavour seems to become too pronounced and I get the 'numb tongue' feeling i was talking about earlier. Might just be the twisp juice? Curious to know what voltage anyone else enjoys with the mPT2 (2.2ohm coil).

2.2ohm I run at 4.8V

That totally depends on personal taste and the juice. HRH runs hers at at 3.4, I do around 4.0 - but it varies a bit according to the juice.

Eish. Order already on its way. No worries to as I doubt it's the last order im going to place.

Does anyone else find that clearos deliver better flavor when they are half-full to empty? Or is it just me?

With the Twisp when the tank get down to a quarter you need to keep the wicks set or you get a crappy burnt taste in your mouth.

So I had my first leak/gurgle experience with the mPT2 today. No leak onto surface/clothing, just into 510 connection on battery and likely the cause of the gurgling. Tank was still half way full, not down low like most reports. Took everything apart carefully and noted all was tight and correctly fitted. Seals good and in right place.

Been using it for over a week now, daily fills and no issues. Only difference is that I was now using it without the 2 flavour wicks installed. Perhaps that is the cause?

Still love this tank like crazy. Better flavour, draw and vapor than the iclear 16 imho.

Have reinstalled the flavour wicks to see if it resolves the issue.

In other news...should have some vape mail soon as the oupa and ouma have come through for me and shipped my order...cant wait for the first taste of VM.:D

If you remove the coil from the base do you see a gap between the chimney and the wick? If you do then that is most likely the cause of your leaking and gurgling.

There should be no gap between the chimney and wicks. I would highly advise putting back the flavour wicks, should do the trick.

Also if you use thinner juice then the thickness of the wick becomes more important. Either way, there should be no gap between the chimey and the wicks when looking at the coil from the sides.

Glad it is looking good for you. I never tinker with the coils and never have had leaking.
