it looks like the PayPal cutoff has started

I have just been informed by heavensgifts that PayPal has cutoff already and there is no payment methods for SA

Yea just happened a lot quicker than expected @KZOR ... amazing how wheels of red tape can turn super fast when required

If I understand it correctly it's actually the card guys, visa & mastercard, that are blocking the processing of vape related transactions which is filtering down onto the processing gateways. That's why some gateways will support instant EFT but not card payments.
Maybe one of the vendors can shed some light

Oh didn’t know abt payfast

Pretty sure Payfast was quite a while back with come vendors and it related to sale of nicotine/ e-liquid being treated as a tobacco product.
There were a whole lot of vendors who had issues and received comms from the gateway indicating similar.

I've just been informed by a international vendor that they can't process my order because they aren't using PayPal anymore

Not PayPal related but possibly ecig related, also seems they are starting to face shipping issues as well.

So much for progressiveness

Think the next logical step would be for vendors to start accepting crypto currency. No way of “Them” cutting the payment portal.

I think I have seen a vendor who accepts bitcoin for online orders, but I can't remember who it is.
