My after hours are always such a rush because I travel from PTA back to Jozi then have filled evenings. Hopefully guys that are close to and surrounding the Sandton/woodmead/Edenvale/Midrand/Sunninghill areas are able to come fetch from me. Will be there with a bakkie though when Johan is ready!

I've had parcels from France end up going via Germany then Australia then Dubai then CPT then JHB.
And it still got to SA within a week!!
Scenic routes happen sometimes.
They took one look at the size of the box and went "we need a forklift for that" "OK Dubai has one, send it there."
I f***ing wish...I rate we have not had new news because @CJB85 wants to surprise us all and say he received the package this morning and already arranged couriers etc...
I did however get a customs clearance event update on the tracking app and an email from DHL stating they "need more information from the importer and will make contact during the day" (paraphrase). I hope it is just to raise the VAT invoice for payment and nothing more serious.

Usually this just means they want confirmation of the goods purchased as well as the total amount, to confirm and raise their invoices for vat and other duty where applicable.
had the issue a few times before- sometimes it zero charges, sometimes they add charges on it (% based on value of goods).
If the forklift breaks within SA borders, is it regarded as Load Shedding?

ps- if they dont call you and you have time, you can call them with waybill number. Once or twice they forgot to call me somehow. But when you call they help properly and tell you whats needed.
Okay this is going to sting (me), but I promised everyone an open and transparent process.
I printed the invoices this morning and started adding names to the items on the invoice to sort the parcel a little more easily and noticed some mistakes.
I have no idea how it happened, but I suspect partly some glitches in updating cart quantities where there were already products of the same SKU in the cart and tired eyes in the middle of the night.
I apologize to the affected members and am already making a plan to get another DHL shipment over here to get you the items you ordered. These Items are:

Then in the comedy of errors, @M.Adhir I told you shortly after receiving your list that the Reload bubble glass was discontinued, but that was not the case, it is the first line item on your list, the POM drip tips that are discontinued... so surprise, you are getting some Reload glasses but no drip tips (FML).
Lastly and this one worries me, I have an unaccounted for Warwolf mod on the invoice, but I cannot for the life of me find who ordered it. I know that @The vaper ordered one, but the second one is a mystery. I vaguely recall someone adding it to their order at a later stage, but I can't find the conversation. If that was you, please send me a copy of the conversation to confirm, otherwise I suppose I accidentally added a second and bought myself a Warwolf, my wife will be SO HAPPY with me!
In terms of the parcel, I phoned DHL earlier today and gave them the tracking number and my ID number. They updated it on the system and promised to call me before the end of the day if they needed anything more from me. They have not contacted me so either they have not gotten around to it yet, or I will get an invoice without the need for another conversation with them.
Once again, I am very sorry for the oversight, I guess 184 line items and well over 200 items was simply too big for me.
