I have a vape mail coming through the snail mail channels. It is held at customs for almost 2 months and I’m starting to wonder if it’ll ever be released! Does anyone know a way to contact these guys.
I’ve had tens and tens of parcels mail to me via snail mail but never had an issue with customs or may be a small fee I had to pay here and there so I’m a bit worried.

I have had similar issues in the past but not for such a long hold up.

You need to contact SAPO directly on 0860 111 502

Don’t give up trying until someone answers, you will eventually get through and from my experience once on the line they call center person can be helpful or at least tell you what the hold up is.

If I had to guess there is a problem with the paper work (Invoice), customs is waiting for something from the sender or from you. So call them to try get answers.

One piece of advise I can give is in future I would recommend you select to send your snail mail via PostNL (Netherlands Post). Customs clears PostNL package far quicker than any other, especially China post which is always delayed. My average wait time with PostNL from sent to collected at my local post office is 20 Days.

My parcel is shipped via postNL like most of my other parcels and I concur it is usually very fast. I’ll definitely try to contact them and see what the problem is. Thank you for the contact numbers!

I concur. In the last year I have ordered four items between Aliexpress and 3fvape, two of which are recent orders and through PostNL. Usually they are small amounts and few items. On average I wait between 2 to 3 months from date of order until collection at my local PO. Normally the fee is R28 at the PO.

Most recent order through Aliexpress was made on 4 July and the parcel has not even left the destination country. I hope to receive it eventually - if not, a refund is probably unlikely but at least the write off will only be around R300.

Maybe check on AliExpress app, their tracking in the app sometimes show that the original tracking number has changed.

Oh and the Post-office app can sometimes help you with ZA tracking number for queries
