Hey folks
Got my Rolo at the last vape meet and until now I didn't have to update firmware or anything. I use it in power mode only and I've been happy until now.
Everytime now when I don't vape for a while, say 30mins or longer, the mod fires as if there's a short on the atty, and there isn't.
I then have to unscrew the atty, press the fire button so it says "Check atomizer" and then screw it back on. Then it asks if it's a new atty and I press "Yes" and then it fires normally again. Every time.
So I updated the firmware, but it still does the same.
During all of this, it displays the resistance correctly, i.e. 0.23 ohms. When it fires the atty as if it has a short, it displays the ohms correctly, but it destroyed my wick the first two times, after that I've been careful that it doesn't burn my wick.
Believe me the dry hits I got the first two times nearly killed me, and there was enough juice in the wick. Yet it fired like it was doing 300watts and I got a dry hit.
This is very worrying.
Any advice? Has this happened to anyone else?
Thanks.
Oh, and this happens with any atty, not just my new one.
