Reuleaux RX2/3 check battery issue [solved]

Hi,

I have one of these beautiful mods. over the weekend I got the dreaded check battery issue


I took it apart this morning on my work bench and discovered the following issue:





The red wire is actually very tight, so there is pressure on the wire every time you open and close the back plate, over time it snaps off, I noticed there was extra length at the base, so i removed the little round black placement stickers and gave the cable a little more slack, re soldered onto the contact and viola all good again.



Now I am a happy vapor once again. I must state though the cable is quite thin, might possibly change it out totally at some point.

Excellent thanks Simon I have the same problem with the reuleaux 2/3. Thanks to your help my meager skills were able to fix the device

Apologies for bringing up an old thread but thanks to the OP for posting this fix. Experienced this same issue earlier today. Went to a Vape Shop and was told its a firmware issue.
Then i came across this post, watched a few youtube videos and tackled it.

Works perfectly fine now. Thanks again.
