RX 200 Overheating when no atty connected

Sup Vapes,

Anyone had this issue?

I dropped my mod from knee height onto a carpet, when i picked it up it said the batteries were low (They were half charged before dropping the mod) and when i put batteries in, the mod overheats, even when no atty is connected to it. Feels as though the motherboard gets hot (screen area) and the bats stay cold.


I have now ordered another (Black and White RX200s) to replace it, but if anyone knows if there is something that can be done to revive it i would appreciate the response.

maybe pull the battery tray out of the mod, then check to see if all connections are intact. Bad earthing will cause the motherboard to heat up if im not mistaken.

I took it apart and cannot see any wire issues.
