Yeah he used 22g but got 0.3ohms (roughly according to his prediction). I wouldn't want to go that low, lowest I would go is 0.6ohms. So a parallel coil of that size might work well.
Ok remember i'm more than an noob with these things, so a parallel coil is one that stands up? Not lying down like the normal coils? Right ?
the one that stands up is called a chimney coil. the parallel coil looks like a normal micro coil but uses 2 strands of wire running next to each other (i.e. the wires run parallel in one coil. So it is basically a dual coil but only taking up the space of one coil.
Ow yes I've seen it somewere around here. That is a interesting one. Maby I should try one. I have 32g how many wraps would you suggest I do ?
What ohms are you looking to get and what atty do you want to build it into?

if you are going with a tobacco flavour I would say 0.8ohms which would be 3 wraps on a 1.4mm ID
If you are going with something that is fruity or creamy I would go with 1.4ohms which would be 5 wraps on a 1.4mm ID

No no, that is for the single chimney coil that @annemarievdh wants to try out.
Curiosity got the better of me.
I had to try this coil out.
I didn't have any 22g kanthal, so I pulled out some 32 and did a triple parallel run around the 4mm drill bit with 4 wraps.
Came out a little messy. But guess its my first attempt at using so many wires at once.
Came out to 0.9 ohms.

well, now im gona have to try that coil
Yip, lower resistance really gets the tobacco flavour pronounced and with higher ohms the fruity flavours tend to shine more
