Smok H Priv does not power on

Hi fellow vapers.

I have finally received my first vape kit today. I bought it off the forum and it's 6 months old.

I have a Smok H Prive mod, Joyetch Ultimo tank, Smok TFV8 Cloud beast, Samsung 25R batteries, Nitecore D2Eu charger and some juices.

I did read all the manuals first, so I checked the batteries in the charger and they were charged full.
I inserted the batteries in my my mod(I did double check on the internet to make sure I fit them the right way) and tried to power my mod on. Did the 5x clicks under 2 seconds on the firing bar, but it does not power on. I did this with and without my tank fitted, plus I did try to swop the batteries around.

I also plugged it into the laptop and tried a Firmware update, batteries out, plugged it into the laptop with the firing bar pressed, still no power on. I did download the link to do the firmware update.

What am I doing wrong or what can i check?

My ass is itching to start my vaping journey.

Hi @DotDubb,

When you insert the batteries does it show the Smok logo on the screen? As soon as you insert the batteries in there it shows up.

I did check it, I doubled che3cked again now, batteries are in the correct way. Plus I checked it twice on my charger, they both are charged full.

My money is on the batteries currently. Let us know what the voltage is when in the charger.

That leaves us with one last option.

1) Take out the batteries
2) Plug in the USB cable into the MOD
3) Press and hold the fire button
4) Plug other end into USB Port
5) Open Firmware Software and try to connect

Ok, seems like I found my noob mistake and i feel like a plank right now.....

I fitted the batteries into the charger and left them for a while, I can clearly see that the batteries are indeed dead.Shows around 2.61v.

Will give them a good charge and try again. So I learn.
