Having enjoyed the Therion 166 thus far, so much so that I've literally sold almost everything else... It died on me last night... I fell asleep on the couch with the working mod in hand. I was about for about 20 mins tops when I woke up to go to bed. On the way from the couch to the bed, in my half dazed state, I took a nice long slow pull of fresh air.... The Therion refused to fire and gave me a 'check battery' error. Assuming it was flat batteries, I switched it em out from the usual turds to samsung 30Q's fresh from the charger... Still dead. Played and toyed a bit with different sets of batteries to no avail. I'm observing on the screen, which only comes on while charging, that the battery indicates to be empty, when it turns on the mod the screen shows check battery.
Upon further investigating the problem this morning via Escribe... I am observing in the Device Monitor function that the cell numbered 1 has only 0.01V and the cell numbered 2 shows 5.18V.
I am 100% certain that the batteries are fine as they have been tested in 2 other devices, and they work fine in the charger with a reading of 4.2V. The minute is disconnect from the USB cable the mod goes off... DEAD!! Not even 2 months old, its been reliable and faithful thus far so that's the disappointing part because it was set to become my all day daily driver and travel companion.
Anyway, contacted the dude I bought it from in Centurion, @Villagevapes, and he offered to come collect the mod from me personally to have it checked out and hopefully, fingers crossed, replaced if the fault can't be resolved.
