In a previous thread I explained that the tank was leaking badly. I had to constantly wipe the mod dry. Then the liquid started getting into the mod and discolored the battery indicator icon until it created a short resulting in the unit heating up with smoke pouring out. I burnt my fingers removing the battery. People will naturally blame the liquid or the coil/wick on this problem.

Four days ago I fitted that same tank with the same coil onto my new Eleaf Pico and used very thin liquid. Miraculously there has been no leaking, not a trace. Can anyone offer an explanation for this?

Bad wicking.

Did you rewick before fitting to the new mod?

If not could be that the wick in the rba coil now properly saturated and filled the juice holes fully.

As stated, I fitted the tank to the new mod just as it was when the heating problem occurred. Same coil, same wick, same liquid
ans it is not a RBA.
