I have been having an issue with leaking on my battery with a 1453(I blame the coil since I've not had any issues before)

Anyway what I did was I made a small coil from organic cotton and placed it directly between the coil and the rubber so its parallel to my wick...

Seems to be working just fine no burnt taste (but harder to drag but not enough to mess up the experiance)and I was looking for some comments

Any warnings and would anyone else try this

The cotton is directly over the coil
I've had no overheating or anything bad happening yet
Okay, that should be fine.
Sometimes the thicker cotton balloons out and can restrict airflow a tad.
Change it when the flavour starts getting muted or burnt like taste, ie the cotton is starting to get clogged and not wicking effectively so the coil lands up burning accumulated residue.

Started noticing my tongue feels a bit odd... don't know if its the cotton...
should i boil the cotton before using it
I tried soaking "organic cotton" in distilled water to leech out the peroxide and perfume tastes, didnt work.
Rather just use the cheap Koh gen do jap vape stuff, R40 @ VapeMob for 5 sheets.
