Can anyone answer the following question, or tell me who on the forum, from Twisp, I could tag?

Can anyone tell me whether it's OK to use other e-liquid 70/30, that is NOT Twisp, in a Twist Mini Vega? The guy at the shop where I bought it assured me that it is and this is what I've been doing.

All was fine and I love this device. However, after 3 months it's giving me problems - spitting, gurgling and a burnt taste. I replaced the coil, but after a day of usage the same thing happens. Is it because I'm not using Twisp liquid? Or is the coil/tank the problem? I've just read on the Twisp Vega (not Mini) thread that these coils are a problem and in fact they mentioned spitting and gurgling.

Please help! ;(

Hi @Hooked

I have moved your post into a new thread created in the Twisp subforum

Vendors are only allowed to discuss their products inside their dedicated vendor subforums, so in future, please rather make use of them to tag vendors if you want help or specific info about their products.

Am tagging @HPBotha and @Mic Lazzari from Twisp so they can assist you when they are online next

Hi @Hooked

Any liquid, and any manufacturer's juice will work with all our tanks. The only caveat is that you need to be aware of the wicking holes - thicker (higher VG) juices require larger wicking holes to sufficiently saturate the coil. On the Vega Tank the wicking hole area is located at the base of the coil and thicker VG juices might have a harder time of sufficiently saturate the coil. I would recommend 60/40 VG/PG down to 50/50.

I am sorry to only be addressing your concern now, I only now returned from leave.

Thanks for the honest information @HPBotha, even though it means that I won't be buying Twisp e-liquid! Most of my e-liquid has been 70/30, but when I get a replacement device (which Mr Tobacco will arrange for me), I'll use what you have recommended. Much appreciated!
