Hi peeps,

Hope I am posting in the right area, I am looking for a new setup for my fiance, she's currently on the Nano and is looking for an upgrade...

So something with,

  • Better airflow, she's been spoilt with the TFV4 now and feels like shes smoking a twist on the nanos tight pull. On that note she has stolen my TFV4 drip tip to sort out that issue lol.
  • Something still feminine and compact, she is not interested in a brick like my Rx200
  • If the mod is pink thats brownie points lol , but if there are coloured covers, that is fine.
  • She's never going to vape at high temps so we dont need anything too powerful
  • Preferably a one battery mod to keep size compact
  • It must be regulated
Any suggestions, there is also no rush so if there are some good things in the future pipeline of hardware , I am willing to wait awhile.

Thanks peeps...

I have only heard good things about the Joyetech evic vtc mini and the TFv4 mini, maybe look at those?

Hi @CloudmanJHB

Are you looking for advice on just a mod or also the tank?
Does she want a rebuildable or a commercial coil device?

Hey Silver,

Should have mentioned that. Most likely a decent mod, something where she can change tanks if she likes another etc.
So looking for advise on a like mod, I think on the tank portion, she will probably just go with something commercial initially, then something that caters for both.

She will probably swop and change tanks as she will share the tanks I have. So let's focus on the mod portion.

I think the Evic VTC mini is a great possibility
Compact, enough power and good build quality.
Different colour covers are available I believe
Also very easy to remove battery and replace with a fresh one.
Springloaded 510
Easy to use and awesome screen.

Another option (although quite outdated now) is the iStick 50. No temp control and only 50W. But more comfy in the hand for me (than the VTC mini) especially with a grippy silicon cover. And huge battery life. Also very easy to use. Been very reliable for me. And my mom absolutely loves hers.

I would want to suggest a Subtank mini v2 with a VTC Mini, but on mine, it doesnt sit flush with the VTC Mini. Works very well but if OCD is a thing, then perhaps look at another tank. Nice thing about Subtank mini is that its easy to use and caters for commercial and rebuildable.

Really think the EVIC is the way to go. I recently had a vape off a buddy of mines device and man was I impressed. I would however go for the Express 75W edition as the tanks on the device are not not IMO the best out there.

Device has a awesome display and really pulls in terms of performance.

Maybe check put the snow wolf mini or the sigelei 75/90w as well. Goblin mini for compact size but you'll have to build it for her I guess.

The evic Vtc mini is a must! Even though it is square it is still comfortable in the hand. If she is not interested in the tc you can leave it on vw for her. Very sturdy mod and you can feel the quality.
Also easy to charge with the usb sitting in the front!

Other choice will be the ivp d2 also nice compact

I've just bought the Smok Micro one with TFV4 80 W, The reviews are great, No battery changing as it has a built in battery that lasts more than a day and available in different colours :)
