Valley Vapour - Flavour Log

As amazing as the pink lemonade smells, I can unfortunately not vape it

It contains alcohol. This is stated very clearly on the website and it was my fault not to check properly.

I couldn't find the info to see if these two FA flavours contain alcohol. Difficult to do so on mobile. But I'm sure we can find out...

For a pretty damn nice simple Pink Lemonade (and hopefully alcohol free):

FA Strawberry 4%
FA Lemon Sicily 4%

To check the contents of the concentrate you need to open the individual flavor you want. It states the ingredients there.

Will definitely try out that recipe, thanks @r0gue z0mbie

FA Citrus Mix!... ooh that could be very helpful.

As it turns out, FW Candy Cane is a light peppermint - Candy - Cane. Delicious at 10%. Add 6 drops Koolada per 30ml, and you have according to that HIC person, Halo Kringle Curse clone.

I used 10% FW Absinthe with it, and it is very 'Dr. Clark Snake Oil' like juice, without the citrus part. I now suspect that the Snake Oil does use Absinthe and not just Aniseed.

So if I add a little Citrus to the mix, I should come out with a Snake Oil'ish type of vape

CC - @Andre . Of coarse if it does come out the way I hope, I shall send you a bottle for your approval. I doubt it will be an actual clone, but I personally shoot for the same flavour profiles as juices I like. And I can tailor it to my liking. The only thing I don't like about Snake Oil, is that its high in PG.

P.S sorry for babbling away in your retail thread @drew :)

Hi guys, about to do some DIY and i'm a newbie with VV, I bought some stuff this week from Drew and would like to know with regards to the 10ml bottles, how many drops equal 1ml? Thanks in advance

It's going to vary due to consistency of the concentrate, variations in the dripper size etc. I'd advise getting some 1ml syringes to start with - using drops isn't very reliable.

I was thinking that, I usually use syringes in a glass bottle so I just took the nipple off of these plastic bottles and used the syringe.
I posted the question without thinking but thanks for the response :)

The standard for drop per/ml is 20 drops = 1ml, I'm not sure how they came up with that standard because as @method1 mentioned it does vary. I have found with water I get 30 drops per/ml and inconsistent measurements with concentrates closer to 40 drops per/ml.

I does vary hey... this is the problem. Making juice by drops in inacurate IMHO, unless you can replicate the conditions every time.

Firstly, the viscosity of the liquid will change due to tempreture. And then a drop's volume could differ, depending on the guage of the hole its coming out of. A basic thumb-brule based on what we know, is between 20 - 25 drops will equal 1ml. But like I said, it differs and it is slighly a round-about way measuring.

I would highly recommend getting a decent scale, and getting used to mixing with THAT scale. Your variables will be minimal.

If not, work with syringes and ml.... the drop method will be the least accurate. If still works, but I suspect it will result in the most differentiations.

American Weigh Scale 501 is widely recommended, I got one and it's been perfect so far.

Which site did you get that one from?

Amazon.com ;-)

Was $27 at the time of purchase, brought it in with a load of other stuff so I can't really give an exact shipping cost, but estimate I landed it for around R500-600.

Does anyone know of local suppliers that sell suitable scales?

Have a look on bidorbuy for "pocket scale 0.01g".

There are quite a few in the R100-R300 range, most likely not as accurate as AWS which go for about 1k on bidorbuy but good enough to start weight mixing.

Just to add, always check the product shipping tab on bidorbuy to make sure they aren't drop shipping. That's just a waste of time.
