otherwise things have very quiet on the specials front where previous years have been crazy!
Completely agree. I see a lot of vendors that you’d see regularly at VapeCon aren’t there this year. And the floor plan has been released but at least 5 places on the vendors list isn’t even on there. Maybe I’m blind but I don’t see Bewolk, Elf Bar, Esmoo, Woomi or Punkapes on the floor plan. No idea what’s happening :-( I feel like the communication has become less and less each year. Kind of disappointed this year.

Last year there were basically no specials, barely any people and pretty much just dissapointing. This year is looking even worse as none of the vendors I look forward to are here, plus side is most stores that aren’t there are having mad specials at the moment like vape cartel and wiener vape

Same, there was in total probably about 5 places that I liked on the whole list. I’m so glad I held off on buying tickets until the floor plan was released. I won’t be attending this year, I’d rather buy from all the places that won’t be there. Please let me know if there are any other NoCon 2024 specials running

Same here. Last year the event consisted of 99% disposables vendors. I've noticed that VapeCon only focuses on one branch of vaping, miss the days of coil creating and general freebase vendors.

Being there on both days this year I can 100% confirm that you could not buy a single juice, cotton, coil or anything else. It was 100% Disposables this year with the added Nicotine gum and pouches.

Vendors have confirmed that there will not be a Vapecon next year due to World Vape Expo coming. If you missed this Vapecon let me assure you that you missed nothing.

There were also NO tables and literally 1 food vendor. The highlight of my day was not starving thanks to Crecent Braai being there and selling a delicious steak roll.

I ended up going at the very last minute on the Saturday as there was a device I was wanting from gate crasher house and they said that I’d only be able to get it at VapeCon that day or in the week and I wouldn’t be in the area after Saturday anymore.

I was so disappointed in the event. No bags as you walk in to carry all your purchases, place was half full, most stalls didn’t have stock that you could buy and were purely there to advertise and could only buy if you imported their products, places like bewolk and punkapes were advertised on the website and stage but their stalls were nowhere to be found, only food available was ice cream/crescent braai/weed edibles.

We walked through the whole place and bought a device and tested a couple different things in less than 10 minutes.

The lack of stock was understandable last year with the customs issue but this year, there is no excuse.

Highly upset with myself for deciding to give them a chance and wasting R270 on tickets. The device I wanted was more expensive at VapeCon than advertised on the website so that already cost more then add the R270 for tickets to get the device. It was the biggest waste of money in my opinion.

This was the last time that I’ll support VapeCon and I definitely won’t be recommending it or saying good things about it to anyone.

To the VapeCon event planners, get your shit together. Updating people who are paying for your event genuinely isn’t that difficult and promising things that weren’t even there is a bad move that will cost you the trust of many people.

I really do dislike that I eco what everyone else here is saying.

it was all disposables, save for voopoo, (that also had a big focus on disposables) vapresso and lost vape.

I cracked a bubble glass on saturday morning, and I could not get a replacement for it at vape con. for a Zeus buble glass by geekvape there was none there.
not only was it all disposables, but they are all so sickeningly sweet that after you taste one you cant taste anything else until you drink water.

it was nice to be able to say Hello and to thow my juice into the mix for the DIY contest, but I stopped at every stall twice to try and get my value from my tickets, but sadly I feel like it was not worth my time.

everyone was walking around with Duel 18650 mods or pod devices and all the stalls were focused on disposables.

this vape con feels like it missed the direction of the target audience.

Indeed! It was a sad end to what used to be my highlight of the year!

I have always looked forward to Vapecon. Like Uncle Rob, this was my one event of the year I actually got excited about. Last year I knew it was not going to be great for us older Vapers who still enjoy rebuildables but I went just to visit some old friends and hang out. This year not a single friend I knew was going so I decided to skip it. While I know that vaping has taking a turn for the worse worldwide, surely we can entice the local guys to pitch up and cater for us all. We can even move it to a smaller site.

@Baxteen you didn't even come say hello, I had a mech and AIO to show you. But I agree, and a major downside was that although Lost Vape and Voopoo and Vaporesso were there, you could not purchase anything from.

Highlight of it for me was the nicotine gum. Those guys have a brilliant idea in my opinion, Simply another tool to get smokers of the cigarettes.

must have missed you, I really did go past every stall twice.
the gum was very cool, but sadly I have a food allergy to Aspartame and Acesulfame K and both artificially sweeteners are in the gum.
