Vaping and Cotinine blood test - Nicotine

Does Vaping entitle one to a discount on insurance that you were previously paying a higher premium on for smoking? The nicotine in a vaping E-Liquid, will it show positive on a Cotinine blood test?

I just spoke to Liberty and under their policy which they claim is the same for all South African insurers Vaping is considered as smoking, and she said smoking cannabis, Hubbly Bubbly etc. is considered as smoking.
So looks like I won't get a reduction in premiums for choosing a safer option.

I've been Vaping for 5 years now, and every year I do adjustments on my life policy, it was picked up on the Cotinine test. I smoke 3mg liquid.
However, the premium differs R 26 a month compared to if the result was 0. on a R2100 life policy a month, I think its not worth it to stop vaping hahaha. I am 30 years old, so think that might also be why the premium increase is not a lot.
