Its basically 12 to 15mm of wick past the coils. Down to the base and pop the cap back on. Nothing fancy.

Will do some photos when I rebuild mine again.

Tried your method getting the odd dry hit at 65w, my method wicks fine but the flavour is not as intense, if that makes sense haha
