What wick is this

Can anyone identify what wicking material is this ? Pulled it out of a 0.3 ohm Eleaf coil. Most commercial coils have this same material in them.


Some cotton but don't know what type and how can I buy them.

If it says OCC coil it means Organic Cotton Coil. I think.

Basically the same as the cotton sheets we buy but compressed into a more binding form.

Think you may need to try making it yourself. Thake one of the ordinary cotton wick sheets, divide it into pieces a third to half the original thickness and compact them using a steam iron. This may be exactly what the coil manufacturer does, or maybe not. Will not know till you try...

Personally, I'd say just get a good RTA.

It,s not the same, but I use the 2x outer lairs of organic jap cotton pad combined. Drip them with juice to make them "stick" together.

I am using RTA's. I just want to rebuild these commercial coils.
