Good Morning Guys. This morning I stumbled across a post on a SA Vape Group on Facebook. The post and picture was about a guy showing off how he blows some huge clouds in a public restaurant. What do he want to achieve? Do he know about all the regulations the government wants to implement? Doesn't he see what is going on in other countries. Kamaan if you want to blow some clouds do it in a appropriate place or at your home. Respect the other non vapers. Please don't put our vaping community under pressure. Thanks.

I compare it to public flatulence. If I don't want to smell someones else food ghost, why should I subject them to my vape clouds. This reasoning completely eliminates the argument of "but vape clouds are healthier than smoke" because it turns it into a matter of reciprocal social etiquette, rather than one of health.
Nothing new... there have always been ignorant tobacco smokers who could care less about courtesy to non smokers.
Same as with these jerk smokers, those who show no respect when vaping gives the rest of us a black eye in the public eye IMO.

My one friend always used to quote this in my smoking days, he doesn't mind when I vape around him but I do still step out for my pleasure.
"cigarette smoke is the residue of your pleasure. It permeates the air, my hair and clothes, not to mention my lungs. This takes place without my consent. I have a pleasure- i like a beer now and again. The residue from my pleasure is urine. Would you mind if i stand on a chair and piss on you without your consent??"

I did the same thing when a newbie asked about mechs, and some one said the ohms law is non important, as long as you understand battery safety.
