Wire Combinations Question

Dear Experts,

I was wondering if it is possible to make a clapton coil by wrapping Nickel200 around a kanthal a1 wire?
I see that I accidentally got Ni200 wire iso Nichrome 80 in my purchase.
Would hate for the 30ga Ni200 to go to waste.

Personally I wouldn't, as to be safe with nickel you try to use temp control or very low watts, and you can't temp control the kanthal clapton core.
