Wire shortage

Hey all

Anyone knows what's the deal with wire especially 28 gauge?

No one has and the prices for in country stock are like in excess of R100 a roll Which is crazy crazy

Trying to figure out what's going on

I've noticed that as well...
Its cheaper at the moment to buy the comp wire with the bacon bits....
Even the pre-made coils are getting priced heavier...

I’ve also battled to find and was considering importing but I did find enough wire to last me a year or two here:

eish i also want to buy some to try some daedalus-ing (new word, go figure ).
But 1000ft each of 3 spools seems a bit much for a trial period lol.
