Never mind I see it does do step down.

Hey @Sprint, excuse my ignorance but what exactly is step down? Have come across this term twice today but I have absolutely no idea as to what it is. Thanks mate.

Some mods like the IPV D2 cannot step down from battery voltage so if you have a low ohm build it will not fire under (assume fully charged battery) 4.2v. This means even if you set the mod to 15W depending on your coil's ohms the resulting vape can be way way more wattage than you set. For instance a 0.5ohm coil using 4.2v will come out at 35w even though the mod is set lower than that.

In a nutshell step down is the mods ability to lower the battery voltage below the actual volts of the battery.

Hey guys i had a 100w presa. Had it for a week and i wont recomend it to anybody. Looks good and feels nice in your hand. But that step down is just the biggest turn off... it costed me a lg 18650 choclate battery, AWT 26650, efeast 26650 5200mah battery and a sony vct4. The mod did the step down with all

Still want to know what battery do you use to make it stay on 100w?

You need a 26650.

Your interpretation on step down is different to mine. Do you mean the mod went into 75w mode?.

Okay I see you tried 26650, weird.

Any other negative points like build quality or firing lag?.

No step down meaning it says baterry low. Even on a 26650 when its fully charged.

AFAIK step down means the device can lower the voltage below the native voltage of the battery. I think you have another problem
